A scarce Australian two-cent proof coin from 1969, presented in pristine condition and housed in a protective 2x2 holder. This piece showcases the characteristic mirror fields and frosted devices typical of proof coinage from this era.
The 1969 two-cent denomination represents a key year for Australian decimal currency collectors, with proof strikes commanding particular interest among numismatists. The secure 2x2 capsule enclosure preserves the coin's reflective surface and prevents oxidation.
Ideal for specialist collectors building a complete Australian proof set or focusing on decimal proof issues. A notable addition to any collection of Australian currency rarities.
