A true transcontinental rail experience, the Indian Pacific crosses the continent from east to west and return, travelling between Sydney and Perth, via Adelaide, along its four-day, 4,352 km journey each way. It passes through some of Australia’s most beautiful and varied landscapes – from the spectacular Blue Mountains of New South Wales to the broad desert plains of the Nullarbor, and the fertile rolling hills of the Avon Valley in Western Australia. This 2020 50 cent coin celebrates the revered and iconic Indian Pacific.
